Despite a few wardrobe hiccups resulting in a spontaneous suit shopping adventure (with strict orders not to tell the bride until AFTER the wedding!), Heather and Luke's summer wedding celebrations at Luminaire in South Melbourne was definitely one to remember.
Amy + Brad - Warrandyte Backyard Wedding
Having met working in the local pub; smooching in the freezer and making eyes over 'the pass' it seemed fitting that Amy and Brad seal the deal in a fun, local backyard wedding. Set in the gorgeous gardens of Amy's family home (that were still maintained by her 92 year old nan!) their goal was to include their nearest and dearest (including fur babies and the chooks!) and to have a fantastic party.

Jen + Adam - Sault Restaurant, Daylesford
Despite some CRAZY weather and somewhat arctic weather for October, Jen and Adam were nothing but smiles and love as they shared their day with nearest and dearest at the gorgeous Sault Restaurant and Lavendar Farm in Daylesford.
Tara + Daniel - Great Ocean Road Wedding
With a ceremony in Lorne followed by a bounce on the trampolines at the Lorne Sea Baths, Daniel and Tara danced the night away looking out over the uninterrupted lighthouse and ocean views at the Fairhaven SLSC in Aireys Inlet.
Olga + James - Heide Gallery Wedding
James and Olga held their intimate Autumn wedding celebrations under a gorgeous oak tree on the grounds of Heide Museum of Modern Art with the reception to follow at Cafe Heide by (Vue de Monde).
Their natural and intimate day celebrated their promise to each other with their closest family and friends and had a nice mix of both Australian and Russian cultures.
Jessie + Tom - Northcote Parkland Wedding
It was quite the honour to be a part of Jessie and Tom's family picnic wedding having photographed Jessie's sister Ellie's wedding a few years back as well as quite a few new arrivals in the family thereafter.
Wanting to keep everything as local as possible, Jessie and Tom held their day in the Darebin Parklands to ensure that their two little lads could be as much a part of the celebrations as possible and have their own 'special party'. Relaxed with a bit of an Australian feel, their gigantic picnic followed by cocktail reception at Francesca's (for the grown-ups) was nothing short of amazing and so true to who they are as a couple and family.
Aiming to keep everything as local as possible, Isabel and Johnny's held their Art Deco wedding at East Elevation in Brunswick East.
Taking on quite a few of the DIY projects herself, Isabel not only made the wedding rings, her earrings and the invitations; she also created the stunning chocolate art deco cake topped with gorgeous Cecilia Fox blooms.
Ashtyn and Patrick's DIY wedding in Lower Plenty was one of the most amazing backyard weddings we've seen to date. Every little detail was carefully thought out and planned by the couple themselves and the venue, well how can you go wrong with firstly getting married in your childhood home full of memories and also in the same place the brides parents married 30 odd years ago!
Emily + Mitchell - Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding
In the middle of a gorgeous Victorian summer, this Stones of the Yarra Valley wedding ticked all the special boxes. Emily and Mitchell are one of the sweetest couples we’ve met to date and it makes perfect sense that they would have the most thought out and beautifully intimate wedding day.
On a Monday last summer, these two and their closest friends and family celebrated in aStones of the Yarra Valley wedding.
Elissa + Samuel - Siglo Rooftop Wedding
Set in the urban glory of a beautiful summer Melbourne day, Elissa and Samuel ‘s Melbourne CBD Wedding was celebrated with family and friends as they tied the knot on the deck of Siglo and then entertained them all with fine food and wine at Sarti Restaurant in Russell Place. Their meticulous attention to detail was evident in everything from the pre-wedding shave for Sam and the Groomsmen, through to the intricate detail of the succulents, candy bar and desert wine placeholders on the tables for the guests.
From the set go, we knew Chris and Zoe were our kind of wedding clients. On a sunny Sunday in Brunswick, we met the wonderful pair and clicked instantly. Loving their ‘why wait’ attitude, their day was one we were looking forward to being a part of.
When November rolled around, it exceeded all expectations. A simple no fuss affair registry wedding followed by a stroll around the CBD and a long lunch at Siglo with their nearest and dearest.
By far one of our favourites to date, this pair simply rock.
Loren + Andy – Kyneton Wedding
On a strangely cold and wintery day for November at the Pig Pen in the Kyneton Botanical Gardens, Loren and Andy decided to invite their nearest and dearest family members to share their Kyneton nuptials.
Whilst the weather wasn’t exactly cooperative and the initial plan of a garden party reception on the lawn was eventually relocated to the Gingerbread Motel, nothing could detract from their wonderfully intimate celebration.
